TIJUANA FLATS’ JUST IN QUESO FOUNDATION HOSTS ANNUAL GALA

— Over $180,000 Raised at this Year’s Event —

ORLANDO, FL (August 21, 2014) – August 3rd, The Tijuana Flats Just in Queso Foundation hosted their annual Share the Love, Feel the Burn Gala at the Hard Rock Live Orlando. The sold out event drew a crowd of 415 people and raised $180k and will be distributed among various organizations through quarterly grants in surrounding Tijuana Flats communities. Additionally, there was an “ask” at the event generating over $43k which will be donated to the Fifth Third Summer of Dreams program. Summer of Dreams provides a 10 week program during the Summer to homeless children in Central Florida. “It’s beyond rewarding to watch the Tijuana Flats Just In Queso Gala continue to grow. The support of our employees, guests, partners and vendors make this event successful and we are truly grateful for their generosity,” said Brad Kaemmer, CEO of Tijuana Flats.

Hosts at the event included XL 106.7 Orlando radio personalities, Sondra Rae and Johnny Magic from the morning show “Johnny’s House.” With an upscale rock vibe, guests enjoyed entertainment by local band, RockitFly and Ft. Lauderdale violinist, Monty Bloom. Featured items in the live auction included tickets to a football game at Lambeau Field, custom painting for a home from Tijuana Flats’ muralist and a private in-home dinner with Tijuana Flats’ chef and hosted by Flats’ CEO. Major contributing sponsors of the gala included Fifth Third Bank, Cheney Brothers Inc., Beltram and Heineken USA.
