Tijuana Flats Continues to Grow in 2010
–Tex-Mex Restaurant Announces 2010 Expansion Plans–
Tijuana Flats, known for its fresh Tex-Mex food and anything goes atmosphere, announced today its plans to open eight new restaurants throughout Florida and North Carolina by the end of this year. Orlandoʼs College Park and Palm Beach Gardens are the first two Tijuana Flats scheduled for 2010-both opening in March.
The restaurant is planning to open the remaining six locations-mainly in South Florida and North Carolina-by the end of the year. These openings reflect the companyʼs previously announced plans to expand the Tex-Mex brand in to South Florida and North Carolina over the next few years.
“With 10 locations between the two, the communities of South Florida and North Carolina have really welcomed us over the years,” said Tijuana Flats owner, Brian Wheeler. “There have been many positive responses about the continued expansion plans in those markets and we are confident that we will continue to become a valid part of their local community just like we are in our existing markets.”
In 2009, Tijuana Flats opened 10 new locations-nine in Florida and one in North Carolina.
